D-Tec was established in 1983 and is located at Umbergaon in Gujarat State (India). It is approximately 150 kilometers North from the city of Mumbai (formerly Bombay).

Application of Diamonds in Industry:

Diamond is the hardest known substance nature can offer. The problems posed by natural diamonds have now been eliminated through the manufacture of Synthetic (Man-made) Diamonds. The main characteristics of synthetic diamond powder are the economics achievable due to the dependency on repeatable performance. Further, synthetic diamond powder has all the positive properties of natural diamond, thus there are no compromises made on product performance. Man-made diamonds are produced from the purest form of graphite under conditions of high pressure and temperature in the presence of certain catalysts where graphite gets converted to diamond crystals.
